Work Lines

I will set aside numbers for realty employees, and myself. In addition, the smaller businesses I will have will also be int this range. The reason for the 97 range is for 9751 which will make more sense as you read on. In addition, I will have other much smaller businesses on the first floor of my Tower. This will include a PMB, convenience store, ice cream shoppe, pharmacy, and pizza shoppe. The numbers are as follows:

  • 9700: Site Office
  • 9701: PMB
  • 9702: Convenience store
  • 9703: Ice Cream Shoppe
  • 9704: Pharmacy
  • 9705: Pizza Shoppe
  • 9706-9750: Other Businesses
  • 9751: My Work Line
  • 9752-9799: Employees

9700-9705 are for the businesses on the first floor of the tower. This will be in line to make life simpler for the calling party as there are simple to remember numbers in a logical and cohesive platform. The other businesses lines will likely be if I should acquire additional apartment buildings with storefronts on the first floor that I will wish to run a business from. If I lease the first floor store-fronts out, the lessee will be required to acquire their own telephone number which is simple enough, and can be done in 15 minutes from start to finish. In addition, I will try to acquire 8xx 377 7368. While toll-free numbers seems to make no difference in this day of age, they still seem to carry a perception of legitimacy. The toll-free number will ring to the telephony server as you would expect, and function just like the 9700 number will. Calls in will ring to a telephone receptionist which will then forward the caller to the appropriate extension.

9751 is my work line. In accordance with my Ideal Phone Setup, I will acquire the 3 local area codes with 682 9751. As you can see, 9751 is the subscriber number. If I will be lucky, then I could acquire a local area code. If that happens, then the only difference is the exchange. This makes it easier for me to remember my work line, while also giving something the caller can have that is easy to remember.

9752-9799 is the employee lines. Any employee that would need a direct telephone number will be given one. For example, a telephone receptionist will not need a direct line, but a building manager might. This will likely be in excess, but it gives the 97 range a place rather than just having this single number of 9751 to stick out like a sore thumb.
